How to survive a Daniel Fast December 31, 2009

Every year, our church does a Daniel Fast for 21 days in January.  We fast, pray, and believe God for great things in the new year.  The Daniel Fast is not a total fast.  If it was, I probably would not survive!  On the Daniel Fast, we eat fruits and veggies…all foods that grow naturally.  It is always a very exciting time for our church but the execution is sometimes difficult because of the way we normally eat in America!

And here’s where I come in!  This will be the 4th year that Mark and I have completed the Daniel Fast.  We have discovered quite a few recipes and ideas to make the Daniel Fast completely doable…even with a busy schedule.  During the first 3 weeks of January, I will be posting tips on my blog about the fast.  I will save all of my entries under the Daniel Fast category on the right side bar.  Check back often for yummy recipes!  Let’s go on this adventure together and get ready for all that God has in store for 2010!
